Compliance, Sustainability and Certification Readiness

We provide legal and compliance support to companies preparing for certification, social compliance audits and responsible supply chain assessments.

International standards and private certification systems increasingly incorporate requirements concerning employment practices, human rights, anti-bribery, data protection, occupational health and safety, environmental compliance and corporate governance. Although certification is generally voluntary, compliance may become commercially necessary under customer requirements, supply contracts, tenders and multinational group policies.

Our team assists clients in identifying and addressing the legal aspects of standards and audit programmes, including ISO 37301, ISO 37001, SA8000, SMETA/Sedex, amfori BSCI, ISO/IEC 27001, ISO/IEC 27701, ISO/IEC 42001, Textile Exchange standards and GOTS.

  • Legal and regulatory gap assessments
  • Identification and mapping of applicable compliance obligations
  • Human rights and employment compliance reviews
  • Anti-bribery and business ethics programmes
