Prior to joining Kavasoğlu Law Firm, Ömer worked in dispute resolution and corporate law departments at leading law firms such as Gün Law Firm and Esin Attorney Partnership (Baker McKenzie.) Since 2013 he has been providing legal services to both local and international clients operating in sectors such as technology, media, engineering, construction, pharmaceuticals and medical devices, insurance, energy, textile, banking and payment systems.
He provides support to our clients in all aspects of employment law, including the negotiation and drafting of employment agreements, termination processes, HR management and employment litigation.
His experience in dispute resolution includes the resolution of commercial disputes in various areas such as management of agency, distributorship and franchise relations, unfair competition lawsuits, drafting of sale contracts, collection of commercial receivables and legal issues regarding sales, transportation, import and export.
He also provided legal advice to international companies operating in sectors such as technology, pharmaceuticals and food on various consumer law issues, including product safety and liability.
He is also experienced in administrative and tax law disputes on issues such as disputes regarding tenders, transfer pricing, expropriation, cancellation and full remedy actions against the administration. In addition, he has CIPP/E certification since 2020 and provides consultancy services to international and domestic companies on the protection of personal data.
